PARTY TIME….. FOR PIX!
Hard to believe but it’s almost time for me to celebrate my BIRRRTHHHDAY! So the planning has begun, and so it darn should, I mean with the torture Mum put Dad and I through in the lead up to their wedding with the obsession with every single minor detail (and I am talking the shade of white the carpet was - believe it - I mean who knew there were even freakin shades of WHITE!) I feel its only right that we lay it on for my friends and I with my function…..
Most people would start with an invite list and invitations, not my mother… She starts with the last part of the function first and strangely works backwards… So what did we start with??? THE CAKE…….. And for someone who doesn’t even eat bloody sweets (or anything other than sushi for that matter) who would have thought?!
We spent the better part of the day at THE GO TO team for anything incredible and edible - SWEET ART in Paddington…… If you haven’t been there, well what have you been waiting for? Jam sponges are so 2011 - this people… is where it’s at…..
Thought I would give you a sneak peek at my design….. Ill keep you posted on what else I am doing, Just need to wait for my friend Philip Carr (www.philipcarr.com.au) to get home from his inspiration trip to Europe… He is going to help me plan every little bit of my ‘do’.
Now, I wonder what she will buy me? I hope a mobile phone so I can do my blogs on my own apple rather than having to share hers!
